This magic 1860′s rural property with a colonial homestead was used as the setting for filming of The Saddle Club Series 3 in 2007-2008 and is only 10 minutes from Daylesford.

Accommodation is in three well-appointed, restored, heritage, self-contained cottages set in 5 acres of gardens. All cottages have open log fires, spa baths and are fully self-contained. Each cottage is absolutely private, and the property is renowned for its exceptional peace and quiet – and just over 1.25 hours drive from Melbourne.

Cottages are fully provisioned with breakfast ingredients and complimentary local wine. Great for couples or groups up to eight. Each of the Garden Cottages accommodates two people. Eliza’s Barn can accommodate up to four people in two bedrooms. Breakfast ingredients, tea and coffee, champagne, chocolates and linen are all included.

Age is no barrier to enjoying Porcupine Ridge Estate – we’ve had guests from the very young to the nineties. This property is definitely in the category of “knock your socks off”, but rates are very reasonable – starting at $410 for a weekend for 2 people in a cottage. Pets are welcome if they will play within the property.
