Accommodation

Where to stay in Daylesford? How do I get enough rooms? What about a wedding party?Making your choice for accommodation in the Daylesford-Hepburn region can often be difficult. This is because of the staggering range of offerings, and the often limited availability.

For, although there are many accommodation providers, the majority are small, one or two bedroom properties. Coupled with this is the popularity of the area for weddings and short breaks, being so close to Melbourne and the number of events such as the Italian Festival or the Chill Out weekend.

So at times the choice is limited! Often people do not know where to start, and are trying to book on behalf of a group. The most important thing to remember is to match your needs with the property, otherwise you may be disappointed.

It is not always necessary for a group to check in to a large hotel complex. Groups are often better off booking a guest house or several cottages together so they can all be together, and enjoy open living spaces to sit down over a glass of wine with some privacy, and perhaps an open fire.

Self contained apartments with spa’s, cottages and villas are the ideal. Modern appliances and kitchen facilities make it even better! Wedding guests often have a challenge finding beds in the one destination and finding enough rooms for all. Porcupine Ridge Estate has answer for that!
Two Cottages, The Barn and The Manor – Family Friendly Choices
