Explore roads westward through Creswick, Smeaton, Clunes and Mt Beckworth Scenic Reserve, southwest to Ballarat and northwest to Maryborough. The rich history of the goldfields and endless hiking, walking and cycling trails abound. Don’t miss Creswick Regional Park and Calambeen Park which was the town’s Chinese camp in the goldmining days and now features lakes which are suitable for fishing or swimming.

Creswick Woollen Mills have been operating since 1947. This spinning and weaving mill is the last coloured woollen mill of its type in Australia and offers product sales as well as staging regular demonstrations and exhibitions.

The Tangled Maze, located 5 kilometres east of Creswick, features two large mazes constructed from hundreds of flowering plants, with cafe and picnic areas.

Housed in the former town hall complex, the Creswick Museum showcases material relating to the Australian artist Norman Lindsay as well as items of significant from Creswick’s history.
